CAREER SUMMARY
Joe Bitar graduated in 1999 from Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels with a degree in Architecture and Design. He holds a DEA in Paysage & Projet Urbain from the Lille School of Architecture (France) in 2000 and has completed a Master in Management at the Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP) - Paris, in 2001.

Starting his career at ASSAR, he has worked on iconic projects as the restoration of the RTT Building in Brussels and the Neudorf Office in Luxembourg.

He joined Oger International’s head office in Paris in 2001 as Design Manager for Large Scale Royal Projects as Yamama Villa ABI, the National Security Council Headquarters, the King Abdallah International Conference and Convention Center in Jeddah, and King Abdallah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Thuwal, KSA.

in 2009, he created Oger International Beyrouth, a 200 employee’s subsidiary of Oger International in Lebanon that he managed till 2011 in order to prepare and complete the Engineering of the Princess Noura University in Riyadh.

Joe Bitar joined 4B Architects (www.4barchitects.com) as Managing Partner in 2011, initially focusing on international projects. His work covers multiple projects such as the Eko Tower 2 Five Stars Hotel in Lagos, the Conference Center of the Najran University, the Renovation and extension of Red Cross Headquarters in Beirut, the Harissa Public Spaces Project and others Projects.

During his career, he had demonstrated his abilities on multiple large scale projects in various locations from Europe (Belgium, Luxembourg, France) to Middle-East (Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan) And Africa (Algeria, Nigeria).

His management skills allowed him to lead Large and Multidisciplinary Design and Engineering Teams and his experience covers complex and high-end projects.
