CAREER SUMMARY
Since my graduation in civil engineering at Polytech Marseille in 2011, I had the opportunity to practice as a structural and mechanical engineer on several scenic and artistic international projects requiring unusual creativity. Adaptability and responsiveness are essential to meet the technical issues in a very short time and bring total satisfaction to the most demanding customers. But above all, an indispensable quality is to listen and keeping good relationships both within the internal team and with external actors as a project cannot be successful without the involvement and support of all.
Atypical projects I've worked on require an openness to other disciplines and pushed me to develop my ability to learn autonomously. I not only could deepen my knowledge in the calculation of steel structures, but above all, I developed new skills such as mechanical calculation.

Design and ensure the structural integrity of steel and mechanical elements such as stages, stage lifts, mobile platforms, turntables, hoists, acrobatic elements and scenic elements for projects related to the entertainment industry: Entertainment, Olympic Games ceremonies, Amusement Parks, Casinos and so on ...

My main tasks were:

-Evaluate and analyze the concepts developed internally and externally;
-Give advice on the safety of concepts and equipments, and suggest some improvements;
-Formulate recommendations for the choice of materials;
-Perform researches needed to understand and meet the requirements of a project;
-Suggest recommendations to ensure that the plans meet the guidelines, the requirements of building codes and the regulations depending on where the equipment is installed;
-Perform computer modeling of structures and assemblies (finite element analysis);
-Perform calculations of steel structures and mechanical and welded assemblies;
-Write complete engineering reports in English or French;
-Supervise potential trainees;
-Assist one or more designers in the heart of the project development;
-Supervise a team in the workshop during tests of new equipment developed internally.
